- Credentialed media must wear their APHA-issued media badge at all times.
- Credentialed media may not sell or otherwise distribute photos taken at the APHA World Show and/or APHA/WCHA Halter Million, outside of the scope outlined above.
- Credentialed media must remain outside of the competition and make-up arenas at all times. Please do not disturb exhibitors as they are preparing to show. Credentialed media may not photograph or gather in entrance/exit gates for the show arenas and may not interfere with duties of official show staff, including drug testers and APHA media. Only the official show photographer and APHA media may shoot from the arena floor or entry/exit gates.
- Credentialed media may not photograph in-arena award presentations nor replicate shots captured by the official in-arena photographer. Content may not be captured over the shoulder of the official show photographer(s). Editorial-use photographs can be requested through ruehlephotographix.com.
- Credentialed media must act professional at all times and follow instructions from event staff.
- APHA reserves the right to revoke media credentials at any time for any reason and/or modify this policy at any time.
- APHA-issued media credentials are non-transferable and are issued per photographer/camera.

Only photographers and videographers under contract with the APHA and/or employed by the APHA will be allowed to take photos or videos of any horse, exhibitor, owner, staff member, show official or others associated with the show during the APHA World Show and/or APHA/WCHA Halter Million. Persons directly related to or associated with an exhibitor may take photos or videos of the exhibitor for personal use only. No photos or videos of events or individuals may be contracted for sale other than through the APHA or official photographer and videographer under contract with the APHA. The APHA has exclusive rights to this event. Any reproduction for sale or promotional activities is strictly prohibited without expressed consent of the APHA. Outside media is invited to cover this event and must check-in at the APHA Media Office to receive an official badge designating them as approved media. As per Rule GR-030, “attendance at an APHA-approved event, in whatever capacity, shall constitute authorization for APHA, its agents, designees, or assigns to photograph, video tape, televise, or record by other means (hereinafter referred to as “photographic material”) any person or animal on the premises of an APHA-approved event, and shall further constitute authorization for the use of such person’s name, voice and biography, or the name, pedigree and performance record of any animal on the premises (hereinafter referred to as “related information”) in conjunction with any photographic material.
Violation of the APHA Media Policy as described above is grounds for immediate removal from the event premises and/or an indefinite ban from future events.
