• Horse Judging Contest Sponsorship

  • The American Paint Horse Association hosts multiple youth education and career development events, each designed to expand opportunities for youth to showcase their equine knowledge and skills. 

    • horseIQ Youth World Championship Judging Contest: Held during the APHA World Champion Show, the horseIQ Youth World Championship Judging Contest is open to all youth, including those involved in 4-H, FFA, and any equine breed or discipline. Contestants will compete as individuals and teams by judging a variety of APHA halter and performance classes and will challenge their understanding of judging criteria through reasons and questions. 
    • horseIQ Collegiate & Youth World Championship Judging Contest: Held during the Fall APHA/WCHA Halter Million, the horseIQ Collegiate & Youth World Championship Judging Contest is open to college students and all youth, including those involved in 4-H, FFA, and any equine breed or discipline. Contestants will compete as individuals and teams by judging a variety of APHA halter and performance classes and will challenge their understanding of judging criteria through reasons and questions.
    • Youth College & Career Fair: A new event, to be held during the Summer APHA World Show. It will provide youth world show exhibitors and contest contestants the opportunity to connect with colleges and universities with equine programs as well as businesses in a relaxed atmosphere. 

    These events reflect our mission to enhance equine education. Through scholarship support and innovative programming, we are cultivating the next generation of equine leaders and advocates. With each sponsorship received, we grow our scholarship fund, increase the number of scholarships awarded, and maximize their impact.

    • A 2.5% non-refundable transaction fee is assessed on all payments received by APHA as of June 1, 2025. APHA reserves the right to waive this fee if payment is submitted by check, money order or ACH.
